About the Education Working Group

October 24, 2014

What the Education Working Group at Interference Archive aims to do:
In keeping with the mission of Interference Archive, we are hoping to create educational opportunities that activate the collection at the archive, whether by drawing on similar themes or using the collection for inspiration and research.
We are most interested in classes that fall under the following themes:
Radical History
Making Art Political
The Politics of Making and Archiving Art
Building Autonomous Spaces
Building Social Movements
Gowanus
All ages are welcome with a voluntary student donation on a sliding scale of $5 – $20.
Please note: Although teachers will not be paid, we will use the money donated by class participants to aid in purchasing materials needed.
