When catastrophe strikes, those most impacted and their neighbors are the real first responders. Join Mutual Aid Disaster Relief (MADRelief) in collaboration with Interference Archive for a two-part Building the Movement for Mutual Aid training series. MADRelief will introduce community organizing as disaster preparedness and guide conversations that give all participants opportunities to share knowledge and build camaraderie with others in the community.
Mutual Aid for Disaster Relief is a growing movement that amplifies the efforts of frontline communities and engages diverse volunteers in scrappy yet strategic grassroots projects that insist on decolonial, anti-capitalist, empathetic and uplifting solidarity not charity transformative direct action.
All are welcome! Attend one or both events.
