Are you looking for a way to help out at Interference Archive? We would love to have you join us as a class visit guide! Come to our orientation meeting on Thursday August 22nd at 7pm!
We will walk you through what a class visit looks like and how to run one on your own.
Class visits happen when a class/group of people request to come visit Interference and look through the collection. They are an easy way that we meet our mission of engaging the public with the cultural production of social movements. As a class visit guide you can help people become acquainted with the space and learn about how best to access material. It is a great way to sit in on super interesting classes, meet people, learn more, and generally have a fun time.
Because of the typical scheduling of high school and college classes, this volunteer position is best suited to people who have some free time between 9-5 on weekdays. But if that’s not you, come anyway! Sometimes we get class visits at random hours too.
Hope to see you there! Feel free to contact classes@interferencearchive.org with any questions.
