For anyone paying attention, there’s so much that’s going wrong in the world that it can be hard to even begin seeing a path to a better one. And these really large problems like isolation, white supremacy, and gendered oppression aren’t abstract; they are always with us. In our homes, communities, and workplaces they leave us disempowered and with narrowed senses of what we can do.
Red Bloom is a Communist Collective, and the “bloom” in our name refers to both individual and collective flourishing. That means we recognize that another world really is possible, and that we need to organize projects with working class people like you to make it real. Our best shot at creating a better world is to build the power for it together!
At this first general interest meeting we’ll describe what we all agree on at Red Bloom – our points of unity – and a few of our projects, including the Red Bloom Solidarity Network, our approach to Labor Organizing, and how we can study and build connections to workers through Worker Inquiries.
If you’re interested in learning about our work and how you can get involved, join us for our first general interest meeting! Saturday, January 5 we’ll be at the Interference Archive on 314 7th Street in Brooklyn from 1-3pm
