Interference Archive at Women’s Strike NYC Festival

Women’s Strike NYC Fest 2023. The festival will include speeches by feminist organizers, live performances, installations, and participatory art making stations. We’ll be screenprinting two original graphics designed by archive volunteers inspired by archival materials and the intersecting axes of feminist struggle. We’ll be supplying all materials and printing patches, bandanas, and posters. Bring a t-shirt or sweatshirt for printing! @womenstrikenyc #8m2023

When: Saturday, March 11th 1-4pm

Where: Washington Square Park, Garibaldi Plaza

Some of the issues that will be centered at this year’s strike include:

• Reclaiming the Commons
• Reproductive Freedom
• The Battle over Labor
• Systemic Violence and the Feminized Body
• Translocal Feminisms

Many of these struggles are represented in current exhibition (take-away archives) which considers: What processes are needed in order to create feminist spaces?
