Join author Peter McCoy for a workshop on the growth of Radical Mycology from an obscure zine to grassroots fungal advocacy movement. Peter will cover the history and insporations that have shaped the evolution of Radical Mycology over the last decade—from the impacts of past and contemporary activist movements to the direct actions of the fungi themselves—and which directions the project is currently growing. The evening will conclude with each participant making their own mushroom cultivation kit for growing mushrooms at home.

This workshop is a part of Peter’s 3-month book tour across the U.S. duscussing his new book Radical Mycology: A Treatise on Seeing and Working with Fungi. On September 21st he will also be presenting on the book’s topics at Bluestockings Books in Manhattan; more info here.
