Volunteer orientation

When

Saturday, February 17, 2024

2:00 PM to 3:30 PM

Interference Archive is hosting its first volunteer orientation of 2024!

This orientation is open to everyone; established volunteers who want a refresher and to new folks trying to plug into the community. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve shadowed once, have put on 10 exhibitions, or have just been lurking on the newsletter—you can make things happen through the archive! You will leave this orientation with new friends, new contacts to help you do the work you’re passionate about, and a clearer sense of Interference’s history, communication channels, and values. Come with your questions and fantasies and we’ll help you turn them into actionable goals.

Directly after the orientation we will be hosting a volunteer social! Interference is a community and social space as much as it is an archive, so stick around to meet other volunteers, and explore the collection. An extra special invite to our more established volunteers- come and meet the new folks, share your experiences and expertise, and help us welcome everyone into the space. It is not required that you take part in the orientation to join us for the social.

Please RSVP to reserve your spot for this session.
