Maybe you’re  a professional already, maybe you just like to draw, or you just would like to try your hand at comics. Everyone is welcome for this free workshop Saturday, January 23, 12-2pm.
Learn some basics about the craft of comics from speech bubbles to sequences. Learn how to make a simple book from one piece of paper and some basic book making techniques from glueing, printing to distribution. By the end you will be ready to start your own D.I.Y. comic press at home, at work and with friends!
Bring your ideas. Materials and tools will be provided. Join the conversation with your own matter. This is an invitation to an open discussion on identity politics and the politics of visual representation in comics. See you there!
