When
Sunday, June 11, 2023
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Zine Jam is a FREE, drop-in workshop program in NYC public parks, organized by our friends at Booklyn, Inc. Due to poor air conditions, they will be doing Zine Jam indoors at Interference Archive!
Everyone is welcome to join in the zine-making (recommended for ages 5 and up). It will be facilitated by Booklyn educators, Emma Karin Eriksson & Monica Johnson, who you may know from Zine Camp, Zines 101, and our wonderful workshops at Mixteca and the Brooklyn Pride Center. Through visual, tactile, and storytelling prompts everyone can create their own one-sheet zine.
Come Jam with us Sunday, June 11, 1-3pm!
Additional dates for Zine Jam and park locations can be found here.
This program was made possible in part by funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, in collaboration with the New York City Council.
Booklyn’s programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
