Join the Interference Archive’s Education Working group for an hour of making zines–aka independent, alternative publications— on the topic of radical love. We’ll look at zines from the archive and make our own zines using free digital software.

Radical Playdate presents: Let’s Make Zines!

Recommended ages: 8 and under
Suggested materials donation: $5 (but no one will be turned away!)
Join us for a session of stamp and stencil drawings with (kid-safe and washable) stamp pads and spray markers. At the end we’ll create a zine with our very own Risograph printer. You can take free copies of the collectively made zine with you!
DIY Feminist Comics, Zines and Coffee Workshop

12–2pm
Come to our DIY workshop, sip coffee and learn from our featured artists on how to make your own comics or zines.
This 2 hour workshop will consist of 4 comic and zine artists who will present their work in a casual roundtable setting at Interference Archive in Brooklyn. Coffee and vegan snacks will be provided. Featured speakers will talk about their experience as DIY makers and artists- where they sell, create, and distribute. The last hour of the session will be a workshop, where the artists will facilitate comic/zine-making with attendees.
