September 16–November 29, 2015 Opening Wednesday Sept. 16, 7–10pm Interference Archive presents Armed By Design: Posters and Publications of Cuba's Organization of Solidarity of the Peoples of Africa, Asia, and Latin America (OSPAAAL), a public exhibition and event series which features the graphic design production of OSPAAAL. Armed By Design will highlight the intersection of graphic design and political solidarity work in post-revolution Cuba through the lens of OSPAAAL’s output.

Wednesday November 4th, 2015 7–9pm Join us for a panel of artists and designers discussing the intersections of solidarity, propaganda, poster making, & image distribution. As part of the programming for our Armed By Design/El Diseño a las Armas exhibition, OSPAAAL will be referenced as a great example of this crossroads, but many other social movements will be discussed as well. Panelists include Avram Finkelstein, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, and Dread Scott. The event will be moderated by Josh MacPhee.
